Thank you for attending #UNHCROnMission: Syria!
While you were on mission with us, we introduced you to Um Ali and her family, living in Jordan’s capital, Amman. Most Syrian refugees in Jordan – over 80 percent – live in urban settings. Others live in camps, like Jordan’s Azraq refugee camp.
About Azraq refugee camp
The Azraq refugee camp is a refugee camp, located in Jordan, built for Syrian refugees. It was developed, and is operated, by UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in conjunction with the Government of Jordan.
Azraq is home to over 35,000 Syrian refugees. More than 60% of them are children.
