Chaque kilom\u00e8tre parcouru est un message d\u2019humanit\u00e9. Safa<\/h4>\r\n<p>Twenty-five years ago, Safa Hammoud\u2019s parents fled Syria for Quebec, arriving on December 24, 2000 \u2014 what Safa calls the greatest gift her family ever received.<\/p>\r\n<p>Growing up in Quebec, she always understood the fragile line separating her security from the uncertainty her parents had escaped.<\/p>\r\n<p>When Syria\u2019s war erupted in 2012, awareness became action. Her family organized events and raised funds for displaced Syrians, but as the crisis deepened, so did the emotional toll. The survivor\u2019s guilt.
