background_enable_color=\u00a0\u00bboff\u00a0\u00bb]<\/p>\n<p>Selon l\u2019Entente entre le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis sur les tiers pays s\u00fbrs, vous ne pouvez pas pr\u00e9senter une demande d\u2019asile \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re canadienne, sauf si vous \u00eates vis\u00e9\u00b7e par l\u2019une des exceptions pr\u00e9vues par l\u2019Entente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Qu\u2019est-ce que l\u2019Entente entre le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis sur les pays tiers s\u00fbrs ?<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019Entente entre le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis sur les pays tiers s\u00fbrs est un accord en vertu duquel les demandeurs d\u2019asile sont tenus de pr\u00e9senter leur demande d\u2019asile dans le premier pays s\u00fbr o\u00f9 ils arrivent (soit les \u00c9tats-Unis ou le Canada), \u00e0 moins d\u2019\u00eatre vis\u00e9s par une exception pr\u00e9vue par l\u2019Entente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>L\u2019Entente entre le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis sur les pays tiers s\u00fbrs ne s\u2019applique pas \u00e0 vous si\u00a0:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Vous \u00eates citoyenne am\u00e9ricain\u00b7e.<\/li>\n<li>Vous \u00eates une apatride et vous avez v\u00e9cu aux \u00c9tats-Unis pendant une p\u00e9riode de temps significative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Vous pouvez \u00e9galement demander l\u2019asile \u00e0 un poste-fronti\u00e8re au Canada si l\u2019une des exceptions suivantes s\u2019applique \u00e0 vous\u00a0:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Vous avez un visa canadien, un permis de travail ou un permis d\u2019\u00e9tudes valide.<\/li>\n<li>Vous avez moins de 18 ans et aucun de vos parents n\u2019est aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/li>\n<li>Vous faites face \u00e0 la peine de mort dans votre pays ou aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/li>\n<li>Vous avez des membres de votre famille qui vivent au Canada. L\u2019Entente entre le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis reconna\u00eet les membres de la famille proche comme \u00e9tant les suivants\u00a0: \u00e9poux\u00b7se, tuteur\u00b7trice l\u00e9gal\u00b7e, enfant, p\u00e8re ou m\u00e8re, fr\u00e8re ou s\u0153ur, grand-p\u00e8re ou grand-m\u00e8re, petit-fils ou petite-fille, oncle ou tante, neveu ou ni\u00e8ce, conjoint\u00b7e de fait ou conjoint\u00b7e
