Des activit\u00e9s aussi ordinaires que d\u2019aller chercher de l’eau ou aller aux toilettes peuvent les exposer au viol ou \u00e0 des agressions.<\/p>\n

Et les conditions accompagnant les d\u00e9placements ne font qu\u2019aggraver ce probl\u00e8me. Les femmes et les filles repr\u00e9sentent environ 50 pour cent des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, des personnes d\u00e9plac\u00e9es ou des apatrides, et celles qui sont non accompagn\u00e9es, enceintes, chefs de famille, handicap\u00e9es ou \u00e2g\u00e9es sont particuli\u00e8rement vuln\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n

Le HCR fait tout son possible pour all\u00e9ger le fardeau qu\u2019elles supportent. Pour ce faire, il leur fournit des h\u00e9bergements s\u00fbrs et qui offrent une certaine intimit\u00e9, une aide pour construire et entretenir leur abri, un syst\u00e8me de distributions alimentaires \u00e9quitables ainsi que des installations sanitaires s\u00e9par\u00e9es. Nous dirigeons \u00e9galement des programmes pour aider les femmes \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leurs comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de leadership, pour \u00e9liminer leurs obstacles \u00e0 l’\u00e9ducation<\/strong><\/a> et pour avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des opportunit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Nos activit\u00e9s s’appuient sur la r\u00e9silience et la force des femmes, et les aident \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer au quotidien leurs conditions de vie ainsi que celles de leurs enfants, de leurs familles et de leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Avec qui nous travaillons<\/h4>\n

Avec qui nous travaillons\u00a0Le HCR fait partie des nombreuses organisations actives aux quatre coins du monde pour aider les femmes et les filles d\u00e9plac\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Nous participons \u00e0 de nombreux forums interorganisations qui tentent de trouver une r\u00e9ponse aux questions de genre et de violence sexuelle, comme l’Action des Nations Unies contre la violence sexuelle en temps de conflit\u202f<\/a><\/strong>et le Sous-Groupe de travail sur l’\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes du Comit\u00e9 permanent interorganisations . \u00a0L’Action des Nations Unies contre la violence sexuelle en temps de conflit<\/a><\/strong>, qui rassemble le HCR et d’autres agences des Nations Unies, a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour informer et sensibiliser le public aux maltraitances commises contre les femmes. Son objectif est de mettre fin \u00e0 la violence sexuelle et de cr\u00e9er un monde plus s\u00fbr pour les femmes et les filles.<\/p>\n
