module_alignment=\u00a0\u00bbleft\u00a0\u00bb global_colors_info=\u00a0\u00bb{}\u00a0\u00bb]<\/p>\n<h2>Qu\u2019arrive-t-il aux r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s rohingyas?<\/h2>\n<p>Plus d&rsquo;un million de Rohingyas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 forc\u00e9s d\u2019abandonner leur foyer \u00e0 cause de la violence et des pers\u00e9cutions commises contre eux au Myanmar. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unhcr.ca\/fr\/news\/rohingyas-deux-ans-plus-tard\/\"><strong>En<\/strong> <strong>2017, lorsque les Rohingyas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pris<\/strong><\/a> pour cible au Myanmar et que des villages entiers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 incendi\u00e9s, ils ont pris la fuite \u00e0 un rythme sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent.<\/p>\n<p>Au plus fort de la crise, des milliers de personnes franchissaient chaque jour la fronti\u00e8re avec le Bangladesh. Pour se mettre \u00e0 l&rsquo;abri, la plupart ont march\u00e9 pendant des jours en traversant la jungle ou des zones montagneuses et brav\u00e9 tous les dangers \u00e0 bord d\u2019embarcations p\u00e9rilleuses dans le golfe du Bengale. Lors de vagues successives de d\u00e9placement, plus d&rsquo;un million de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s Rohingyas ont \u00e9chapp\u00e9 aux attaques cibl\u00e9es contre eux depuis<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unhcr.ca\/fr\/news\/hcr-crise-rohingyas-necessite-solutions-durables\/\"> le d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1990<\/a><\/strong>. Le dernier exode en date a commenc\u00e9 le 25 ao\u00fbt 2017, lorsque des actes de violence ont \u00e9clat\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;\u00c9tat de Rakhine au Myanmar et ont pouss\u00e9 plus de 742 000 personnes \u00e0 se r\u00e9fugier au Bangladesh. La grande majorit\u00e9 des personnes qui arrivent au Bangladesh sont des femmes et des enfants, et plus de 40 % ont moins de 12 ans. Beaucoup d&rsquo;autres sont des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, qui ont besoin d&rsquo;une aide et d&rsquo;une protection suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb4.16&Prime; global_colors_info=\u00a0\u00bb{}\u00a0\u00bb]<\/p>\n<h3>O\u00f9 les familles rohingyas se r\u00e9fugient-elles?<\/h3>\n<p>La plupart des familles rohingya se rendent au Bangladesh et se retrouvent dans les camps de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s de Kutupalong et de Nayapara, dans le district de Cox&rsquo;s Bazar. Mais les conditions de vie y sont difficiles et l&rsquo;afflux consid\u00e9rable de personnes exerce une immense pression sur les structures et les services locaux.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb4.16&Prime; global_colors_info=\u00a0\u00bb{}\u00a0\u00bb]<\/p>\n<h3>Quelles sont les conditions de vie dans les camps de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s rohingya?<\/h3>\n<p>Les camps sont rudimentaires, surpeupl\u00e9s et tr\u00e8s \u00e9tendus. Comptant plus de 900 000 personnes vivant sur seulement 13 kilom\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s, Kutupalong est aujourd&rsquo;hui le plus grand camp de ce type dans le monde. Les infrastructures et services locaux atteignent la limite de leurs capacit\u00e9s. Afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019assainissement et l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau potable, nous avons construit des milliers de latrines et de points d&rsquo;eau pour les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, ce qui permet d\u2019att\u00e9nuer les risques sanitaires tels que la diarrh\u00e9e aqueuse aigu\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9quipes du HCR g\u00e8rent \u00e9galement les activit\u00e9s de protection et travaillent d\u2019arrache-pied dans tous les camps de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s de Cox&rsquo;s Bazar o\u00f9 elles fournissent des biens de premi\u00e8re n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 aux familles. Nous soutenons \u00e9galement des programmes en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;\u00e9ducation et de sant\u00e9. Par ailleurs, le HCR aide les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s \u00e0 renforcer leurs abris et \u00e0 se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 la saison des moussons, qui se d\u00e9roule entre mai et septembre et augmente les risques d&rsquo;inondations et de glissements de terrain.<\/p>\n<p>De m\u00eame, nous continuons \u00e0 identifier les nouveaux arrivants les plus vuln\u00e9rables, tels que les enfants non accompagn\u00e9s, les femmes enceintes ainsi que les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es et handicap\u00e9es.
