It’s hard to imagine what a group of 1.5 million children looks like. Or what it would be like if they all had to run from their homes, in need of food, shelter, care and protection from harm. The numbers that describe today’s refugee crisis are often hopelessly abstract.

So we’re asking you to look at that almost unfathomable number in an entirely new and provocative way. It’s a just-over-a-minute experience that we hope you’ll think about, act upon and share.

With the crisis in Syria now in its fifth year, there remains no end in sight. More than 4.8 million refugees have fled Syria and half of them are children; the numbers only continue to grow. This is the largest humanitarian crisis of our time—we need to notice, support and care for Syrian refugees. Start by sharing their story.
